We have an Accountability Working Group that works to empower volunteers, members and guests of DSFL in implementing our accountability agreement.
Our work is rooted in the principles of transformative justice and our activities focus on working with collectives and the broader membership of DSFL to look out for each other, hold one another accountable for our actions and provide support in addressing instances where harm occurs within the space.
We’re looking members (or those keen to become members) who have experience OR an active interest in community conflict management, accountability, restorative justice, alternative justice models, and those with experience as mental health workers, counsellors, trainee counsellors, trauma workers or similar. The commitment is a few hours a month, primarily online, in your own time and will involve irregular meetings.
If you’re interested in getting involved, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a paragraph or two about your interest and any relevant experience or interest in gaining experience.
