Starting this month, DIY Space for London will be on NTS Radio every four weeks broadcasting an hour of music, live recordings, interviews and all sorts in an effort to portray as much of the space as we can in sixty minutes.
Each episode will be presented by different members and the content will change according to what happens at the space – if you have any cool ideas about how we can document events (not just gigs!) or just want to give us a hand then get in contact!
Episode #1 was presented by member Sapphira, and included a guest mix from Joanna Gruesome (who are getting ready to play two gigs on March 19th) as well as recordings from You Can’t Be What You Can’t See, a series of talks held in early March which saw performers and musicians such as XANA, Liv Wynter and Jen Calleja talk about performance, gender and the intersections within. Give it a listen here:
The show airs every four weeks, Wednesday mornings at 01:00 UK time, and will become available on-demand through the NTS Mixcloud soon afterwards. Our next episode will air Wednesday 6th April, so tune in if you’re still up!
