Troy Cabida is a Filipino poet, editor and producer currently based in London. His poems have appeared on Bukambibig, Eastlit, Rambutan Literary and The Ofi Press. He is a Barbican Young Poets alumnus and the assistant producer for London poetry night Poetry and Shaah.
On Saturday 11th August, come through to DIY Space for an evening with Troy as he introduces himself to the world through poems, music and stories about love, friendship, bubble tea, that thing called masculinity and staying sober as a young Filipino artist navigating through London.
Featuring acts on the night include Amina Jama, Neimo Askar, Malakaï Sargeant, Overture’s host and co-producer Ruth Sutoyé and the musical prowess of Gabriel Jones aka Bump Kin.
