JOEY FOURR is “wonk-pop 4 queer kids.” For those uninitiated to the J4 Experience, expect radical burning otherworldly bliss, oozing with sensual rhythms and hushed lullabic beauty; a hazy warm caress and an irresistible get-in-the-groove invocation at the same time.
2nd LP ‘Velvet Realness’ is due sometime soon, and if the last couple of singles ‘Bath Tiem’ and ‘Uhmerikca’ are anything to go by, it’s going to be another silky post-pop gem.
NACHTHEXEN is synth-driven snotty punk from Sheffield. This Steel City coven make stomping no wave-tinged HI-NRG dance music, with cavenous cold fury and thumping dark-day disco. Fresh from Euro dates, the four-piece stop by South London ahead of an autumn UK tour with Sleaford Mods.
WVS is an Argentinian 2-piece turned relocated full-band doing awkward unconventional bittersweet art-pop. Members of Los Crispis and Score contort meandering, melancholic melodies around taut, ascetic rhythms to create dream-walking gorgeousness.
SOLUTION HOURS is one member from Joey Fourr and one member from Coughin’. One guitar and one drum kit occupy the space between lo-fi and post-hardcore sentimentalities. Playing their first-ever show!
