This August, DIY Space Print Collective are joined by creative collective, BRASH, for an all-day workshop on zine-making !
We’ll show you different zines, talk through the history of this medium, and show how to make your own. Then, we’ll be making a zine together using the risograph at DIY Space.
We’ll be starting from scratch but experienced zine-makers more than welcome to join in.
There’ll be a shared vegan /vegetarian lunch for those interested; ( if you’d like to bring food in, please write down a list of allergens)
NOTE: This workshop includes a Risograph induction.
***Our workshops are not-for-profit and completely volunteer run – all the money from ticket sales goes towards materials, equipment and improving the Print Room at DIY Space for London!
We want our workshops to be open to everyone, so please email email@example.com if the full ticket price is prohibitive – or if you have any specific access needs you want to discuss -and we’ll do what we can to make sure you can attend! 3 places are reserved at this workshop specifically for this so don’t be shy about getting in touch.
You can also email us if the spaces are full but you’d like to be put on the waiting list!***
DIY Space for London is on a single floor level, with access ramps, widened doors, an accessible toilet and plenty of space for maneuvering and getting away from crowds. There is plenty of seating available and the toilets are gender neutral and accessible.
On entering the venue there is a small ramp, which is quite steep and might require assistance going up and down. If you are a wheelchair user and not travelling with anyone, let us know in advance you are coming so someone at the venue can be there to assist.
