ANXIETY is a very special band that probably doesn’t need an introduction by now, making their way down from Glasgow for their first London appearance since Static Shock Weekend last November.
Discordant droog stomp hardcore that’s not so much outside the box, but tearing at the walls from the outside. A psychologically disorienting trip, descending through frantic oppressive and overbearing noise that layers brutal distortion, taut no wave (no hope/no future) textures and unyieldingly cavernous effected vocals.
Debut MLP was out on La Vida Es Un Mus last year, and the new 7” is due end of March.
CIRCUIT BREAKER is a London-based duo comprised of brothers Edward and Peter Simpson, who contort and stretch minimal synth, post punk and industrial nightmare-scapes into a unique and challenging machine of their own.
Brutish synths rise and swell over the incessant metal dance of drums and deconstructed strings.
LP ‘My Decent Into Capital’ was out on Harbinger Sound last year, and they’ve most recently shared stages with Sleaford Mods, Russell Haswell, Martin Rev, and Uniform.
GOLD FOIL is secretive London post-punk noir made up of members of SAUNA YOUTH, PRIMETIME, NO, and ES.
Terse, reclusive melodies pace around menacing minimalism; brittle, palatial guitars rise from the void with snapback dynamism among compartmentalised rhythms and gritted-teeth untethered refrains.
NEKRA is a brand new worldie London-based punk band playing probably their second ever show. Featuring members of EFIALTIS, FRAU, DREGS and PESADILLA. Expect fast and moshy ‘dangerous hardcore’.
